Diving in Norway
A dive in Norway that is worth the trip on its own. Diveable all year.
Pick a month: the diving season, from published sources, and the typical weather.
Pick a month
Typical weather, not a forecast: averages for 2021–2025 (air, rain, wind), data from Open-Meteo (ERA5 / Copernicus, Météo-France). Covers an area of roughly 10 to 25 km around the destination.
Sources say the cave is diveable all year (since the Lake Kallvatnet dam reduced the river flow in the 1960s); the local dive centre Plura Valley operates all year. No source names a best month, so every month is shown as good. Winter dives are done through a hole cut in the ice at the entrance basin (Dive Rite trip report, March 2020).
