Pick a month
Typical weather, not a forecast: averages for 2021–2025 (air, rain, wind), data from Open-Meteo (ERA5 / Copernicus, Météo-France). Covers an area of roughly 10 to 25 km around the destination.
Some clubs dive all year, others April–October; the surface averages 22 °C in summer, nearing 10 °C below about 10 m and staying at 4 °C all year from 40 m.
From the easiest to the most demanding. Levels with a dashed outline are estimates we are still verifying.
Diving is banned in the Bout du Lac nature reserve, and in the Herbier de la Planche at Sevrier (at least 15 June–30 September, four yellow buoys) all human presence, including diving and anchoring, is forbidden.
When the big encounters happen, month by month.
