Pick a month
The warmest water of the year.
Exposure suit: 2 mm shorty or 1 mm full suit · if you feel the cold: 3 mm full suit. How we choose
Typical weather, not a forecast: averages for 2021–2025 (air, rain, wind) and 2023–2025 (sea), data from Open-Meteo (ERA5 / Copernicus, Météo-France). Covers an area of roughly 10 to 25 km around the destination.
Dived all year in water usually between 18 and 25 °C, cooler and quieter in winter.
From the easiest to the most demanding. Levels with a dashed outline are estimates we are still verifying.
In the La Restinga marine reserve, scuba is allowed only from boats moored to the buoys of four authorised points (El Bajón, La Bocana, El Rincón, La Herradura), with prior authorisation and annual quotas set by the 2005 order. Shore dives are banned, and night dives are allowed only at the harbour mouth (Bocana del Puerto) with authorisation.
