Pick a month
Typical weather, not a forecast: averages for 2021–2025 (air, rain, wind) and 2023–2025 (sea), data from Open-Meteo (ERA5 / Copernicus, Météo-France). Covers an area of roughly 10 to 25 km around the destination.
Diving runs year-round (warm water all year). Best visibility December–March (~20 m) vs ~10 m April–November per PADI. Humpback whales July–October (Horizonte Aberto) or July–November (Catraca Livre); one source says June–November. Whales are watched from the boat only: diving with whales is not permitted. No closed season documented.
From the easiest to the most demanding. Levels with a dashed outline are estimates we are still verifying.
